Your Dollars & Sense: Making the most of charitable donations
NORTH TEXAS — The holidays are a great time of year to give back and donate to a charitable organization if you can. But the past couple of years, inflation and other economic conditions have made it harder for some people to open up their wallets.
According to wealth management firm OpenAir Advisers, charitable donations decreased 10.5% last year, when adjusted for inflation. And even though inflation has come down recently, not everyone has felt relief just yet.
