NORTH TEXAS — Tuesday was another beautiful day with highs in the 70s across North Texas; however, changes are expected overnight thanks to an approaching frontal passage.

Cooler weather as well as a breeze coming from the north, gusting up to 20 mph will be expected over the next 24 hours.

This next system will bring dry and much cooler air across the area on Wednesday. Lows are forecasted to be in the upper 30s and lower 40s with highs topping out in the lower 60s. This will be the coolest maximum temperature DFW has seen since March.

Temperatures continue to warm as an upper-level high-pressure system dominates throughout the rest of the week. By Sunday, the forecasted high is expected to reach near 80, which is about 15 degrees above normal.
