Video shows aftermath of Roseville Galleria jewelry store hit in smash-and-grab robbery
ROSEVILLE – A store inside the Westfield Galleria at Roseville mall was hit by a smash-and-grab robbery late Thursday morning.
Roseville police said multiple thieves got away with jewelry, but they did not disclose from which store. However, video obtained by CBS Sacramento, seen above, shows the robbery happened at S&L Gem Co.
The value of the jewelry stolen was not known.
Police noted that the thieves used hammers to smash the glass displays. The incident happened around 11:30 a.m.
The suspects had fled by the time officers arrived and no descriptions have been released. It's unclear how many suspects were involved.
Known as the Roseville Galleria, the mall is the largest in the greater Sacramento area.
