World War II veterans from Philadelphia region return home from France after D-Day anniversary
U.S. military veterans who served in the Normandy campaign in World War II landed at Philadelphia International Airport on Monday night after a week touring their former battlegrounds including Omaha Beach. The 80th anniversary of the D-Day invasion was observed June 6, 2024.
