Police are searching for a juvenile after over 50 shots were fired in a shooting that injured seven people in North Philadelphia.

The shooting happened around 3:30 a.m. Saturday at a party that had been organized on Instagram, police said.

Police set up two crime scenes – one on the 2500 block of North Jessup Street and a second around the corner at 11th and Cumberland streets.

Police said the victims include men and women ranging from 16 to 30 years old. All were taken to Temple University Hospital and at first, two were in listed in critical condition.

A later update from police said only one victim – the youngest, a 16-year-old girl – was in critical condition. The girl suffered a gunshot wound to the chest.

The other victims – three men in their 20s, two women in their 20s and a 30-year-old woman – are in stable condition, according to police.

The shooting happened when two men at the party got into an argument and people started to leave. Then the shooter returned to the scene and began firing.

One weapon was recovered at the scene and investigators counted three different kinds of shell casings on the street.

Police believe the shooter was a juvenile male dressed in all-black clothing, Capt. Shaun Butts said at the scene.
