PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Saquon Barkley, C.J. Gardner-Johnson and extending Landon Dickerson. The Philadelphia Eagles have been busy during NFL free agency.

Free agents were able to officially sign their contracts at 4 p.m. Wednesday when the new league year began.

Here's a roundup of who Philadelphia has agreed to sign this offseason.

March 14: Eagles to sign former Tampa Bay Buccaneers LB Devin White to 1-year contract

The Eagles are signing former Tampa Bay Buccaneers linebacker Devin White to a 1-year contract, CBS Sports reported on Thursday night.

NFL Network reports the 1-year deal is worth $7.5 million.

White, 26, fills a much-needed void as a linebacker in Philadelphia's defense.

In 14 games last season with the Buccaneers, White had 83 tackles, nine quarterback hits and five tackles for loss. He also had six pass deflections and two interceptions.

White, who won the Super Bowl with the Bucs in the 2021 season, earned Second Team All-Pro honors in 2020 and was named to the Pro Bowl in the 2021 season.

White, who was benched toward the end of last season and dealt with a lingering foot injury, was selected No. 5 overall in the 2019 NFL draft by the Bucs out of Louisiana State University.

The Birds needed a linebacker this offseason after Nicholas Morrow, Zach Cunningham and Shaq Leonard departed in free agency.

White will join Nakobe Dean, the former University of Georgia product, in the Eagles' linebacker room.

March 13: Eagles officially sign C.J. Gardner-Johnson, DeVante Parker

Philadelphia on Thursday officially signed safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson and wide receiver DeVante Parker to three-year and one-year contracts, respectfully.

March 13: Eagles make Saqon Barkley, Bryce Huff signings official

At 4 p.m. Wednesday, when the new league year started, the Eagles made the Saquon Barkley, Bryce Huff, Zack Baun and Matt Hennessy signings official.

Barkley and Huff each signed three-year contracts, while Baun and Hennessy each signed one-year deals.

March 13: Eagles extend kicker Jake Elliott for 4 years

The Eagles and Jake Elliott agreed to a four-year contract extension Wednesday that will keep the kicker in Philadelphia through 2028.

Elliott is coming off an Eagles record-breaking season. The 29-year-old made 30 of 32 field goals in 2023, setting the single-season record for field goal percentage (93.8%) and 50-plus-yard field goals (7). He ended the 2023 season, including the NFL playoffs, by making 15 straight field goals.

The Eagles signed Elliott off the Cincinnati Bengals' practice squad after Caleb Sturgis was injured in Week 1 of the 2017 season.

March 12: Eagles, safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson agree on 3-year deal

Safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson is returning to the Philadelphia Eagles on a three-year contract after spending one season with the Detroit Lions, according to multiple reports on Tuesday night.

NFL Network reports Gardner-Johnson's contract is worth up to $33 million.

Gardner-Johnson posted on X following the news of him returning to Philly.

"Flying home," he posted on X.

Gardner-Johnson, 26, was injured for most of the 2023 season with the Lions after he tore a pectoral muscle in Week 2. He played three regular season games and had 16 tackles, one interception and three pass deflections.

Gardner-Johnson will bring some much-needed versatility to Philadelphia's secondary, especially after the team released starting slot cornerback Avonte Maddox

March 12: Eagles, WR DeVante Parker reach agreement on 1-year deal

The Eagles added some depth on Tuesday and reached an agreement with former New England Patriots wide receiver DeVante ParkerESPN reported

Parker's deal with the Eagles will be for 1-year, $4.69 million, according to ESPN. But the Eagles will only have to pay $1.2 million of the contract and the Patriots will be paying the rest, ESPN reported.

Parker, 31, has spent the past two seasons with the Patriots. In the 2023 season, Parker had 33 catches for 394 yards in 13 games.

Overall in his nine-year career, Parker has 402 catches, 5,660 receiving yards and 27 touchdowns. He spent the first seven years of his career with the Miami Dolphins.

Entering free agency, the Eagles had a need at wideout behind A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith. The team's backup wide receivers, Quez Watkins and Olamide Zaccheaus, are both free agents.

March 12: Eagles extend Rick Lovato, Braden Mann

The Eagles' specialists will be returning for the 2024 season.

On Tuesday afternoon, the team announced they extended punter Braden Mann and long snapper Rick Lovato.

Lovato has been with the Eagles since the 2016 season and is the third-longest-tenured player on the team.

In his first season with the Eagles in 2023, Mann ranked sixth in net punting average and eighth in yards per punt and served as the holder for Eagles kicker Jake Elliott.

March 12: Eagles, OL Matt Hennessy agree to 1-year deal

The Eagles added some offensive line depth on the second day of the legal tampering period on Tuesday. The team reached an agreement with former Atlanta Falcons offensive lineman Matt Hennessy, PHLY Sports reported.

Hennessy, who played college football at Temple University, has experience playing guard and center. He started 22 career games for the Falcons but missed all of the 2023 season with a knee injury.

With Jason Kelce retiring and guards Jack Driscoll and Sua Opeta becoming free agents, interior offensive line was a need for the Birds entering free agency.

March 11: Eagles, Saquon Barkley agree to 3-year contract

The Eagles and Barkley agreed to a three-year, $37.75 million contract on Monday afternoon, according to multiple reports. ESPN's Adam Schefter first broke the signing, reporting the former New York Giants running back could earn up to $46.75 million.

Barkley's contract with the Eagles reportedly has $26 million fully guaranteed.

Barkley played football at Whitehall High School in the Lehigh Valley before becoming a star at Penn State University. He then became the second overall pick in the 2018 draft, won the Offensive Rookie of the Year and blossomed into one of the best three-down backs in the NFL.

The 27-year-old ran for 962 yards and added 280 more yards in the receiving game with 10 total touchdowns last season. According to StatMuse, Barkley is in the top five among running backs since 2018 in receiving yards (2,100) and receptions (288).

Barkley's signing with the Eagles sparked a feud with former Giants running back Tiki Barber.

Barber said that Barkley was "dead to us" on sports radio in New York after the signing was reported.

Later Monday night, Barkley responded on X, posting, "@TikiBarber lol yup you're the prime example of loyalty to a team.. I got the deal I wanted, secured more [guaranteed money] which wasn't given to me before… so if fans are gonna hate me for that so be it! But I never turned my back on my teammates and always had theirs."

March 11: Eagles, Bryce Huff agree to 3-year contract

Before signing Barkley, the Eagles first addressed their pass rush - a staple of how Roseman builds his football teams.

Philadelphia agreed to a three-year, $51.1 million contract with former New York Jets defensive end Bryce Huff, according to ESPN and the NFL Network.

Huff, 25, is coming off a career year with the Jets, recording 10 sacks in 17 games last season. With the Eagles, Huff will likely take on a larger workload. He played just 42% of the Jets' defensive snaps in 2023.

Huff went undrafted out of the University of Memphis in 2020. He comes to Philadelphia with 17 1/2 career sacks.

By signing Huff, the Eagles will likely trade Haason Reddick or Josh Sweat.

The Birds previously permitted Reddick to seek a trade, though the Temple University product clarified that he did not ask for a move. Philadelphia is also shopping Sweat, according to multiple reports.

March 11: Eagles, Zack Baun agree to 1-year contract

The Eagles added another piece to their defense, agreeing to a one-year contract with former New Orleans Saints linebacker Zack Baun, according to ESPN.

Baun, 27, recorded 30 tackles, four quarterback hits and one interception in 17 games with the Saints last season. He played mostly special teams in New Orleans.

The Saints drafted Baun out of the University of Nebraska in 2020.

March 11: Eagles, Landon Dickerson agree to 4-year contract

The Eagles also locked up one of their own on Monday. Philadelphia made Landon Dickerson the highest-paid guard in NFL history with a four-year contract extension that will pay him $21 million per season.

Dickerson has earned Pro Bowl honors in back-to-back seasons and allowed a career-high 3.86 seconds of average time to pressure, according to NFL Next Gen Stats. He allowed three sacks in 16 games last season.

"Not Going ANYWHERE," Dickerson wrote on X.

Brandon Graham wasn't lying when he said he wanted to play one more season with the Philadelphia Eagles. On March 9, the team announced it agreed to terms of a one-year contract with Graham, bringing the defensive end back for a franchise-record 15th season.

Graham has 73 sacks in a record 195 career games with the Eagles, including three sacks last season. The 35-year-old is a popular player in the locker room and the Philadelphia community.
